"Will my Points expire?"

A: Every time you complete an eligible activity, your Points expiry date will extend by 24 months. That means earning, redeeming or buying a Point. So as long as you stay active in the program, your Points balance will remain active as well. Read more about how easy it is to keep your Points active.

"How can I get more Points?"

A: We’ve always got great offers for you, whether you’re shopping, travelling or entertaining we have regular deals to boost your Points balance. Keep up with all our latest special offers.

"What if I don’t have enough Points for a flight?"

A: You can use Points + Pay to book a flight using your Points balance and paying the difference.

"What can I redeem my Points on at the moment?"

A: We’ve got loads of goooood options. Redeem Velocity Points for Virgin Australia domestic travel, car hire, hotels, Velocity Wine Store by Laithwaite’s plus gifts and merch. Explore now

"Have you made flight reward options more expensive?”

A: No. The number of Points needed to get a flight reward won’t change. At the beginning of 2020 Reward Seats started from 7,800 Points plus taxes and fees and in 2021 it’s the same. Find out more

"Will Velocity Frequent Flyer program be as good in the future?"

A: You know it! With new and exciting partners joining the program in 2021, we look forward to a brighter future together, with you.

"Will my Status membership expire because I can’t fly?”

A: Eligible Platinum, Gold and Silver members have been provided with a Status Credit gift, as well as an extension of their Status, to get them through to at least March 2021.

Plus, Status Rewards are now available for our existing Gold and Platinum Status members when you take one eligible flight with us before the 28th of March 2021. Find out more

"I booked a flight using Points. Can I make changes?"

A: We’re here to help. Depending on when you booked and when you’re due to travel, we’ll waive fees for any changes you make before 31 January 2022, or the date you travel (whichever is earlier). Fare differences may apply. Find out more

"Can I still earn Points?"

A: Yep! Nothing’s changed, you can keep earning Points with hundreds of your favourite brands

"With international borders closed, where are Virgin Australia flying to?"

A: The Virgin Australia domestic network takes you to all of the beauty on our doorstep - that’s 30 Australian destinations to be exact.

"What are you doing to keep passengers healthy?"

"If I need to change my Virgin Australia flight, will you help me out?"
