Travel Coordinator

Nominate a family member, colleague, or an individual you trust to be your Travel Coordinator to manage your Velocity account on your behalf*. Perfect for busy travellers who need help with the little things, like booking a Reward Seat or putting in a claim for missing Points.

How It Works

Step 1

You can nominate up to two persons over the age of 18 to be your Travel Coordinator by personally calling our Membership Contact Centre. Your Travel Coordinator does not need to be a member of our program and can be the nominated Travel Coordinator for up to five Velocity members.

Step 2

Once you nominate a Travel Coordinator, you are giving this person full authority to call our Membership Contact Centre and transact in your account, on your behalf. Your Travel Coordinator will also have access to your personal information and transaction history.

Step 3

Once you’ve made your nomination, we will send both you and your nominee an email confirmation and you will both have up to 72 hours to review and accept the terms and conditions of the nomination to activate the Travel Coordinator feature. Your Travel Coordinator will have a dedicated profile, including security access details, to perform transactions on your behalf.

Important information

It’s important to note that as the account holder, you continue to be responsible for the transactions, including those made by your Travel Coordinator on your behalf. Velocity cannot reverse any transactions authorised by your Travel Coordinator in error.

Your Travel Coordinator nomination will remain in place for a period of up to 2 years. After this time, the nomination will be automatically removed, and you will need to nominate them again if you wish for them to continue to manage your account.

You can call our Membership Contact Centre at any time if your wish to remove or change your Travel Coordinator.

*As the account holder you will take steps to ensure that the Travel Coordinator deals with both your Membership and Membership Account in accordance with the program Terms and Conditions and acknowledge full liability for the actions and transactions of the Travel Coordinator and that any transactions once conducted cannot be reversed. The minimum age requirement for a Velocity member to be able to nominate a Travel Coordinator is 18 years.
