HOW MANY VELOCITY POINTS WILL I EARN?

Earn Points per mile flown when you travel in an eligible class on Singapore Airlines operated flights with a SQ, MI or VA flight number1.

The number of Velocity Points you earn with Singapore is based on the fare class and the number of miles you are traveling, so the higher your fare class, the more Points you earn.

Singapore airlines operated flight with a SQ or MI flight number

What is a SQ/MI flight number?  A SQ/MI flight number is the code designated the airline you will fly with (followed by a 1 to 4 digit number). It reflect where you purchased your flight. To get a SQ or MI flight number, you will have to book your flight on Singapore Airlines website.

To ensure you earn Velocity Points, make sure you enter your Velocity membership number when making your booking or present your Velocity card at check-in.

BENEFITS OF FLYING WITH A VA FLIGHT NUMBER
-Earn more with bonus points-

Platinum, Gold and Silver members travelling on a Singapore Airlines operated flight with a VA flight number, earn a Points bonus on miles flown in addition to the Base Points2 earned. Silver members will receive an additional 50% bonus Points, while Gold members will receive an additional 75% bonus Points and Platinum members an additional  100% bonus Points.

VELOCITY POINTS AND STATUS CREDITS CANNOT BE EARNED ON:

  • Reward Seat bookings
  • Fares classes other than as specified in tables above
  • Any Singapore Airlines flight where KrisFlyer miles have been used as form of payment irrespective of the fare class flown
  • Codeshare flights (Any flight with an SQ flight number that is operated by an airline other than Singapore Airlines, SilkAir or Virgin Australia)

CLAIM MISSING POINTS

To insure you to automatically earn Velocity Points on your eligible travel, add your Velocity membership number to your booking prior to travel. You can add your velocity membership number when you book your flight or call the airline directly to get it added to your booking or present your Velocity membership card at check-in.
It can take up to 14 days after your flight for your Points to be added to your Account.

Flown recently and missing some Points?
If your Points have not been credited after 14 days, or if you forgot to add your Velocity membership number prior to travelling, you can submit a missing Points claim by logging into your Velocity Account and following the steps provided.
