If you booked a car and forgot to provide your Velocity number, simply present it when you collect your eligible rental from Europcar to earn Velocity Points.
Alternatively, if you are missing Velocity Points you can make a claim within 3 months of the eligible transaction. You must have been a Velocity member at the time of activity.

1. In Australia and New Zealand, the Points earn rate is based on the base rental cost of the vehicle. Silver, Gold and Platinum members earn tier bonus Points on top of the base Points earned depending on their membership status. For reservations within Australia and New Zealand, as a Red member you will earn 3 Points per $1 spent; as a Silver member you will earn a total of 4.5 Points per $1 spent; as a Gold member you will earn a total of 5.25 Points per $1 spent; and as a Platinum member you will earn a total of 6 Points per $1 spent. For the rest of the world, you will earn a flat rate of Velocity Points per rental: 800 Points as a Red member, 1200 Points as a Silver member, 1400 Points as a Gold member or 1600 Points as a Platinum member. To be eligible to earn Velocity Points, a person must hold current Velocity membership. Members will not earn Points on contract rates, international wholesale rates, staff and industry rates, restricted rate plans, damage liability cover, optional insurance, vehicle registration fee, premium location fee, admin fee, taxes, GST, one way fees, age surcharges, additional driver fees and equipment such ski racks, baby/booster seats or GPS rental costs. Please note that not all car types will be available.
Points values shown are correct as at 01 October 2017 and are subject to change. All car rentals are governed by Europcar's standard Terms and Conditions. To earn Velocity Points you must be both a Velocity member and the main driver on the vehicle rental agreement with all details matching across both partners. Members will earn Points on the first 30 days of an eligible Europcar rental only. Should a member rent multiple vehicles at the same time, Points will only be earned on the rental of the vehicle returned first. Velocity Frequent Flyer members can earn or redeem Points for car hire bookings made via Rocket Travel Cars. All bookings made through this platform are subject to Rocket Travel terms and conditions.
You must be a Velocity Member to redeem Points for car hire. If you are booking a car for someone else, please ensure the passport or photo-id presented at vehicle pick up matches the driver’s name you indicate when you confirm your booking. Please ensure you review the cancellation policy attached to your reservation as these vary, and in some cases include non-refundable, non-changeable reservations. You may be entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law in certain circumstances. If your booking qualifies for a refund, the total number of Points used for the booking can be refunded. Partial refunds of Points are not available. Please note that prepaid redemption bookings for Car Hire are non-refundable within 48 hours of travel. The minimum Points required to redeem a rental car via Rocket Travel Cars is 2,000 Velocity Points. The actual Points required vary depending on the vehicle, rental brand, rate type, time of booking and date for which the booking is made. Redemption levels are subject to change at the discretion of Velocity Frequent Flyer. You can use your Points to cover a partial amount or the full amount of the car rental rate including taxes and surcharges. Points cannot be earned on redemption bookings made with Points or a combination of Points plus pay. Any additional direct payments required at time of pick up, are not included.
Status Match: Complimentary Partner Membership is available with either Hertz or Europcar. Once you have selected Complimentary Partner Membership with either Hertz or Europcar, you are unable to change this selection or obtain a further Complimentary Partner Membership with the alternate partner. The benefit is available once only and your new level of membership with your chosen program will last for 1 year from date of activation. To retain your new level of membership, you will be required to meet the status maintain requirements in line with the program requirements.
