Terms and Conditions:
1Discovery Holiday Parks and Top Parks: Velocity Points are earned on accommodation booked directly with Discovery Holiday Parks, online at y phone or in person. For Top Parks, Velocity Points are only earned for bookings made via the website. Bookings made for Streaky Bay Foreshore Discovery Parks are ineligible for Velocity Points earn. Availability of accommodation is not guaranteed for reasons including, but not limited to, high demand, low supply, and operational limitations. Velocity members will earn 2 Velocity Points per $1 spent on Qualifying Stays. If a Velocity member is also a member of G’DAY REWARDS that member will earn an additional 2 Velocity Points (being a total of 4 Velocity Points) per $1 spent on Qualifying Stays. A Qualifying Stay is a booking of accommodation, where the Velocity member making the booking stays at the accommodation for the period of the booking. Points are only awarded upon full payment and check-out. The Velocity membership number must be provided at the time of booking. Velocity Points are not awarded for cancelled bookings, complimentary, free or barter night stays or bookings or reservations made through Online Travel Agencies or third-party booking channels. Velocity Points can only be earned on the accommodation component of any booking. Velocity Points are not awarded in respect of any incidentals or optional products including but not limited to grocery items or extra activities purchased in association with the accommodation booking. Please allow up to four weeks for your Points to be allocated to your Velocity Account after your stay.
2Car Hire: Simply quote your Velocity membership number on your next rental. To earn Velocity Points, you must be a Velocity member and the rental must be in the Velocity members’ name. When hiring in Australia and New Zealand, Red Velocity members earn 3 Points per $1 of eligible spend with Hertz and Thrifty or 4 Points per $1 of eligible spend with Europcar. For Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty, Silver members will earn 4.5 Points per $1 of eligible spend, Gold Members will earn 5.25 Points per $1 of eligible spend and Platinum Members will earn 6 Points per $1 of eligible spend. In Australia and New Zealand, the Points earn rate is based on the base rental cost of the vehicle. For the rest of world, you will earn a flat rate of 800 Points per rental. Members will not earn Points on the following, as these are not considered eligible spend: contract rates, international wholesale rates, staff and industry rates, restricted rate plans, damage liability cover, optional insurance, vehicle registration fee, premium location fee, admin fee, taxes, GST, one way fees, age surcharges, additional driver fees and equipment such ski racks, baby/booster seats or GPS rental costs. Please note that not all car types will be available.
3Marriott Bonvoy: The transfer rate is 3 points for 1 Velocity Frequent Flyer Point. For full details and terms and conditions refer to the partner website. Names must be identical on both memberships to complete points transfer. Please allow up to six weeks for the Points to allocated to your Velocity Account. Daily minimum of 3,000 Points and maximum of 240,000 Points value transfer rates apply and are subject to change. After your Marriott Bonvoy Points are converted into Velocity Points, these Points are subject to the Velocity Frequent Flyer general terms and conditions.
4Accor Live Limitless: The minimum transferrable amount is 4,000 Accor Live Limitless (ALL) points per conversion, which is equivalent to 4,000 Velocity Points. 1 ALL point is equivalent to 1 Velocity Point. Members must login to their ALL membership account to transfer their ALL points to Velocity. Please allow up to six weeks for your Points to be credited to your Velocity account. After your ALL Points are converted into Velocity Points, these Points are subject to the Velocity Frequent Flyer general terms and conditions. View terms and conditions of the ALL loyalty program.
5TFE Hotels: Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Serviced Apartments, Vibe Hotels, Rendezvous Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and TFE Hotels Collection - Velocity Points can be earned on accommodation rate only when charged to the Member’s room, when the rate is equal to or above the specified rate threshold for the hotel. To earn Points please remember to quote your Velocity number at the time of booking or upon check-in at the hotel. Consecutive bookings are not eligible for points. Points cannot be split between two or more members occupying the room. Points will only be issued to the person who’s name is on the invoice for the hotel stay. Points are not awarded for no-shows or bookings made through third party channels. Points can only be earned on a maximum of seven nights per stay. Points earn is only eligible for up to 3 paid rooms per member card for any common stay period. 6InterContinental Hotels Group: InterContinental®, Crowne Plaza®, Hotel Indigo®, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Holiday Inn Resort®, Holiday Inn Club Vacations®, Staybridge Suites® and Candlewood Suites®. To earn Velocity Points whenever you stay within the InterContinental Hotels Group you must be a member of the IHG Rewards Club Program and select Virgin Australia as your Preferred Frequent Flyer Program. After your IHG® Rewards Club points are converted into Velocity Points, these Points are subject to the Velocity Member Terms and Conditions. 7Crown Hotels: Offer only available for bookings made between 15 June – 30 August 2020. Available for stays between 15 June 2020 and 30 September 2020 at Crown Towers Perth when booked through https://www.crownhotels.com.au/velocityoffer.html (Eligible Booking). Available to all room categories at Crown Towers Perth. Some blackout periods or limited availability may apply to special event periods and public holidays. Velocity Frequent Flyer Members will receive Double Points per $1 spent on Eligible Bookings. Points are not earned on ancillary hotel spend such as mini bar, room service, telephone, laundry and “pay per view” charge or any other spend such as restaurants. 8Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts: Velocity Points are earned on Qualifying Stays under a Qualifying Room Rate at Shangri-La hotel, resort, Kerry hotel, Hotel Jen or Traders hotel published on www.shangri-la.com. Your stay must be booked directly at goldencircle.shangri-la.com or by contacting the group Worldwide Reservations Centre. Velocity membership card must be presented or the membership number must be provided upon check-in for Points to be awarded. Velocity membership card details must match the name on the reservation in order for Velocity Points to be credited. Only one member may earn per room booking. If a member reserves multiple rooms, only the non-discounted or corporate rate on the room that the member has physically occupied will be eligible to earn Velocity Points. Velocity Points will be credited to the Member’s Velocity membership account when the preference to earn Velocity Points is selected prior to check-out, and once made, the final selection cannot be amended. Please allow 4-6 weeks for Points to be credited to your account. After such time should Points still not be awarded, contact the hotel with your receipt.
