  • Update your Velocity membership details

    You can update your details, such as your email or home address, at any time by logging into your Velocity Account.

    Step 1Log in to your Velocity Account

    Step 2: Select the 'My Details' tab on the left hand side

    Step 3: Follow the steps and fill in the appropriate fields to update your details.

    Important Information: If you wish to change your date of birth, you will need to contact the Membership Contact Centre.

    Tip: You can also view and update your Velocity preferences online, including your Seat Preference, Interests and Communication Preferences.

  • Transfer your Velocity Points into the account of an eligible family member

    Step 1: Log in to your Velocity Account

    Step 2: Select the 'Transfer Points' tab on the left hand side

    Step 3: Follow the steps and fill in the appropriate fields to transfer your Points.

    Important Information: 

    • Transfers occur immediately and cannot be reversed. Please ensure all details are correct before proceeding with a transfer. 
    • A maximum of four transfers per Membership Year is allowed. For example: If you joined the program in April, you can make four transfers between April and March of the following year. 
    • Each transfer must be for a minimum of 5,000 Points and a maximum of 100,000 Points. 
    • Points can be only transferred to Eligible Family Members only. 
    • Transfer for free online (fees apply when transferring via the Membership Contact Centre).

    *Eligible Family Member means any person a Member can demonstrate is related to that Member in any of the ways described as follows: husband/wife/domestic partner/de facto, parent/child, brother/sister, grandparent/grandchild, son/daughter-in-law, brother/sister-in-law, father/mother-in-law, uncle/aunt, nephew/niece, first cousin, or any foster, step or adopted relationship in any of these categories.

  • Members can pool Points or Points and Status Credits with family members living at the same home address.

    Step 3: Follow the steps to set up Family Pooling

    Important Information

    • A Family Pool can consist of a total of six family members (including the beneficiary), with up to two adults aged 18 years and over, and up to four children aged under 18 years of age. 
    • To ensure all Points and Status Credits are pooled to the main beneficiary, the pooling relationship/s must be set up prior to commencing travel on the applicable flights. 
    • Once a pooling relationship has commenced, any Points and/or Status Credits pooled to the beneficiary cannot be reversed. 
    • Eligible Sectors cannot be pooled. 
    • To set up a Family Pool, log in to ‘My Account’ and click on ‘Family Pooling’.

    If you’re looking to join the Velocity program and you are over 18 years of age with a residential address in Australia, you can request to receive a Global Wallet® enabled membership card when you join

    ALREADY A VELOCITY MEMBER?

    If you’re over 18 years of age with a residential address in Australia, you can request a Velocity membership card with Global Wallet® functionality for free.

    If you don’t have a Velocity membership card:

    Log into My Benefits to check if you’re already opted in to Global Wallet®. If you’re not, just tick the checkbox and we’ll send you a Velocity membership card with Global Wallet®.

    If you’re already opted in, just head to the Request A Card tab in your account to request your Velocity membership card with Global Wallet®.

    If you have a Velocity card but it doesn’t have Global Wallet® on the back:

    Log in to My Benefits and opt in by ticking the Global Wallet® check box. You’ll be sent a new membership card with Global Wallet®.

    Please note: when you receive your new card with Global Wallet® functionality, you'll need to activate your card before it's ready to use.
